We went to the Camp Bowie Charity Bingo and had ourselves a ball. One of the nicest bingo center we've ever visited anywhere. Lots of fun games, gifts, and prizes. We'll be regulars for sure. You gotta visit it.
We enjoyed the fun games and friendly atmosphere also, but they actually have sessions at 7 & 9 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, with an afternoon matinee at 3 & 5 pm, giving folks like us time go relax after church service and be home at very reasonable hours. Let's support this healthy business and family-friendly (with max prize money, though) entertainment venue. BTW, we enjoyed seeing the various Paradise members working the snack bar, greeting people, etc. There's even a growing tip jar to buy these folks some decent shoes since they walk so much to use the bus and to work the large bingo hall. God bless them.
Awesome entertainment experience. Not too crowded and very clean and spacious. Great bingo games and good cash prizes, too. I saw people of all stripes from ages 6 to 76. Camp Bowie Bingo is part of my regular weekend entertainment schedule, especially their Free Food Fridays when I don't have to worry about dinner after a long work week. Mr. Jim's pizza ans Riskey's barbq were tasty.
Say, bloggerman. When are you and the catwoman gonna go play bingo at that new camp bowie bingo so you can take pictures and tell used readers living far away your impression of the venue?? You've always been really good about reporting what you had experienced.
You've done plenty of reporting on the excesses, incompetencies, and corruption that are part and parcel to living in your area of Texas {and my place of birth}. How about a positive and uplifting report about these courageous Americans?
I sure do like camp bowie bingo. It's clean, spacious, and fun for the whole family. Not your typical dirty bingo hall tucked away in some old building with horrible parking in some not so safe part of town. It's a really charity doing bingo took raise needed funds took help people like Serena, Dean, Kevin, Norma, and Dale. God bless them for what they're doing and the hard work they're doing. The community should support them. Glad I found out about them through your blog. They could use more marketing and public exposure.
What happened to Paradise Center? Haven't heard from them in awhile?
